I have ADHD, but I'm not having trouble lately, so I'll tell you how. #ADHD

1) I take Concerta and Strattera.

This is obvious, but I rely on medical help.
Medicines are expensive, so I apply for medical care to support independence

Living
(2) Live in a big house

Even if it's a little messy, it's less stressful.
By the way, I live alone in a 2LDK house.

3) Organize chores with an app

Decide how often you want to do your chores so that you know when you need to do them today.
Even if you can't do it, don't save it, but let it flow.
I use an app called pikapika and I recommend it.

Mental disorder?

>>
I'm an office worker with ADHD and ASD!

I've done some research.

I'll buy some useful home appliances.

Dishwasher is really useful.
It should be big enough to fit frying pans and rice cooker kettles.
Even if it's not dishwasher-safe, I'll put it in.

A "dishwasher" or some other item that ADHDers consider buying at least once. Anyone else wondering if they should buy one...?

5) Hire a housekeeper.

Private ones are expensive, so it is enough to have a grandmother from a silver center come to your house.
It goes twice as far if you do housework together instead of simply asking her to do it for you.
I live in the countryside now, so I can't use it, but when I lived in the city, it was very helpful.

>>
I like the idea of asking Silver to do it for me...

>>
They're cheap.
To be honest, I don't expect the cleaning to be perfect, and grandma is nice to talk to.

If there's demand, I'll write a workplace version.
If not, drop it.

Don't you think one person in a 2L would be too much to ask for?

>>
I think it's just fine.
One room is connected to the dining room, so it's a large LD, with a desk.
The other room is a bedroom.

Do you have any secondary disabilities?
I'm in the gray zone, but I'm having a hard time with sensory sensitivity.

>>
Yes! I'm bipolar, but I think it's calmed down recently.
Hypersensitivity is tough. Are you sensitive to sounds or something?

Does ADHD mean you can't clean up? I'm not sure what the symptoms are, imho.
If I can't clean up and I'm restless, that's totally me.

>>
I guess inattentive or restless would be the easiest way to describe it.
Maybe you're right - get it checked out if you're concerned.

Did you have trouble with it as a child?

>>
No, I didn't.
I didn't stand and walk, and my parents were rather overprotective, so I didn't forget things that much, and I was able to study well.
But I do remember getting scolded for forgetting to turn in my homework in the morning.
It was more difficult when I grew up.

It's good if you can live a comfortable life by taking care of your own problems.
