ADHD can't be managed by effort alone? Life's too hard mode, isn't it? #ADHD

If you can figure out your brain habits and learn to manage yourself, you'll be better off.
I mean, I make careless mistakes, but...

Have you been diagnosed? Have you tried Strattera and Concerta?

>>
I'm thinking about getting them.
It's been recommended to me by others.

The medical expenses related to developmental disabilities are covered at 10% under the medical system for services and supports for persons with disabilities.
So I'll only have to pay less than 10,000 yen a month for the medicines.

>>
I see.
Thank you very much.
I want to have children in the future, so I don't want to take medicine as much as possible.

I had a teacher at my high school who was able to cover for me.
He made some mistakes in the class progression, or who said what, or he was very forgetful, but he was a nice guy who was kind and everyone loved him.

>>He was kind and nice and everyone loved him.
That's a great teacher to be able to cover up your disability and still be well-liked.

In my case, my mind is always cluttered and I can't organize what's in my brain.
I write it all down externally and keep it there.

I'm a forgetful person.
I forget things too easily, so I write down everything that's important and the order of my thoughts.
Since I have a smart phone, I can write everything down on my smart phone.

>>
It's so convenient to have a smartphone.
I have a strange sense of time, so sometimes I think it's been 10 minutes, but it's been an hour.
So I put a timer on it.
I also use the notification function of the todo app to prevent me from forgetting things.

>>
Yeah, yeah.
I also set an alarm for my work schedule several times a day.
I just have a hard time remembering people's faces and names.
I can't take a picture of everyone I meet.

ADHD means the same thing as developmental disability. ......

>>
No, it's not.
ADHD is a developmental disorder.
ADHD is a developmental disorder.

There's nothing you can do about it.
You have to cover it up with your personality.

>>I'm a very warm person.
I have a mild-mannered and timid personality, so it's hard for people to make fun of me behind my back.

I've always believed I'm not like that.
But recently I've been thinking about taking the test, at least without telling my wife.
Well, at that point, I don't stand a chance if she says I have ADHD or that I'm normal and just stupid...

>>
At the diagnostic stage, they'll want to interview your parents about your childhood behaviors.

>>
I don't know if parents are involved, but I don't think so.

I'll tell you what.
Honestly, you have to take advantage of it.
It's a disability.
It's just that it's hard for them to adapt to today's society.
But aren't most of them intelligent and skilled?
But when they get involved with other people, they start to fall apart.

>>I'm not sure.
Yes, yes, yes.
They have a talent for shutting out noise, forgetting to eat, concentrating, and working hard.
Edison had ADHD.
The point is to be aware of it and control it.

>>
I'm generally inferior to normal people, but I'm more devoted to my interests than most people.
He forgets to drink, eat, and sleep.

Because they have extremely low working memory, or short-term memory, they have a strong attachment to their areas of expertise.
I hear that working as a waitress in a restaurant is a minefield.

I'm attention-deficient, but I can afford it.

Disability?

>>
I'm not sure if I'm eligible for disability benefits.
I remember hearing that even if your symptoms are severe, you are not eligible for disability allowance or something like that, so it seems like you are outside the box.
I think it's fine for people with mild symptoms because it's like a personal handicap, but people with severe symptoms can't even work properly, so what are you going to do?

I set the alarm on my phone to go off several times a day, and when it goes off, I make sure I haven't forgotten anything or missed anything.

I'm forgetful myself...
I can't remember how many things I've missed.

Take notes.
Review it.
Make it stick.
